Amanda Basson: Administrative Director

Six years ago, Amanda and her family planted roots on the picturesque central coast of California. They were drawn here by the region's natural beauty and vibrant community spirit. As a proud mother of two young boys and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Amanda highly values equity and inclusion. She has carried those values into her work with CCPS as she facilitates access to top quality, inclusive mental health care for all. Her upbringing in a low-income household instilled a deep sense of empathy and a drive to give back. She was very inspired by her mother who worked at a nonprofit supporting individuals with special needs. Growing up she spent many years volunteering alongside her mother, nurturing a passion for community service and advocacy. She is now here to welcome you!

With over 15 years of professional experience encompassing business consulting, administration, and Human Resources, I've cultivated a diverse skill set rooted in service and collaboration. My journey has taught me the importance of fostering inclusive environments where every voice is heard and valued. From facilitating conflict resolution to navigating complex challenges, I approach each opportunity with a deep-seated commitment to making a meaningful impact.
