Mercedes Parker utilizes a strengths based, culturally humble, and intersectional lens in her work with clients. During therapy, Mercedes offers support and opportunities for growth in a compassionate and person centered way, recognizing that each person is the expert of their own life. She pulls from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Informed Care to create a safe and gentle environment where growth and healing can begin.

Monique is a psychological associate who uses evidence-based strategies to help individuals manage stress, anxiety, and life’s challenges. She works with adults, children, and teens, providing support through transitions, loss, and trauma. With 15 years of experience in psychometric testing for autism, ADHD, traumatic brain injury, and learning disabilities, she helps families gain clarity and practical solutions. Monique is also passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals, offering tailored guidance to help them navigate emotions and thrive.

Saxen Martin-Jensen is a compassionate therapist and dedicated educator who values creating a collaborative and empowering space for growth. Saxen collaborates closely with clients to create customized strategies for healing and personal growth. Using a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy, Saxen helps clients develop healthier coping mechanisms, improve day-to-day functioning, and cultivate mindfulness and well-being.
Saxen is available for sessions at The Center in Arroyo Grande and San Luis Obispo. CenCal is the only accepted insurance for his work.

Jaime Cruz is committed to helping individuals and families overcome trauma and adversity through a compassionate, straightforward approach. Having immigrated from Mexico and grown up in South Central Los Angeles, Jaime understands the challenges that come with hardship and resilience. With over 10 years of experience, he specializes in English/Spanish therapy working with youth and families, helping them build strength and navigate complex issues.
