Kristyn Collins PhD - Licensed Clinical Psychologist: Clinical Director

Dr. Collins uses a client-centered and attachment focused therapeutic approach. She works to understand how each client's culture, environment, and early life experiences have affected their worldview, choices, and behaviors.

A licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California (PSY30024) Dr. Collins received a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Walden University and has published research on the connection between early life attachment style, anxiety, and substance use later in life.

A Note From Kristyn

The real beauty in people is not found in perfection it is found in how we choose to heal our brokenness. I often use the image of Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending it with gold. The healing process makes us more beautiful and more valuable than a vessel that has never been injured. Therapy is a process of mending. In my mind therapists are here to help you find all your scattered and broken pieces, figure out how they should fit together, and help you fortify yourself with grace and compassion. In the end my hope is that our clients do not see themselves as scarred by past trauma but instead see themselves as powerful, beautiful, and whole.

Vanessa Holtgrave PsyD: Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Supervisor

Dr. Holtgrave is an experienced clinical supervisor, practitioner, and professor of psychology. Dr. Holtgrave prides herself in her ability to see the bigger picture when it comes to the assessment process, effectively utilizing differential diagnosis in a manner to come to strong efficacious conclusions.

Areas of Special Interest and Credentials

Adult psychodiagnostic assessment, child/pediatric psychodiagnostic assessment, and forensic assessment (malingering, competency, and sanity). Dr. Holtgrave’s area of specialty is in the clinical assessment of both adults and children.

A licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California (PSY29670), Dr. Holtgrave received a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in Clinical-Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Vanessa also has a Master’s degree (M.S.) and Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Psychology from Southern Illinois University (SIUE). She has published research on police personality. Dr. Holtgrave is a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) and Associate Fellow (AFBPsS) with the British Psychological Society, an Associate Professor of Psychology with the University of Massachusetts global program, and an Adjunct Instructor with Pepperdine University. Dr. Holtgrave is an active member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and Division 41 (Psychology-Law).

Its multifaceted applications make it a cornerstone of psychological practice and research, benefiting both individuals and society as a whole. In essence, treatment begins with the assessment process. Psychological assessment captivates me because it bridges the gap between theory and practice, illuminating the human experience in ways that foster growth, resilience, and meaningful change. It's about connecting with individuals on a profound level, empowering them to navigate life's complexities with clarity, compassion, and purpose through the power of knowledge and insight.

Diana Granados: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Supervisor

Diana holds the core belief that each person she works with has the inner strength, resilience, and capacity to shape their life and relationships to be healthy and fulfilling. Her role is a support person who will guide you in building up your existing strengths, and find ways to expand those unique qualities to all areas of your life.

As someone with lived experience with mental health symptoms and challenges, Diana understands the journey you are on and will walk with you to help you find relief to your pain, and joy in your life.

She utilizes a combination of practical strategies, education, and unique approaches catered to your strengths and interests to help you understand your mental health. Diana strives to be affirming and supportive to all the unique parts that make up your identity from gender to culture, and all the areas in between.

Catherine Rantisi: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Supervisor

Catherine Rantisi is a compassionate therapist dedicated to supporting adolescents, adults, and the elderly through life’s challenges. Their approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and deeply collaborative, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Brainspotting, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Catherine believes healing begins with understanding the stories we tell ourselves and works alongside clients to reshape narratives that no longer serve them.

Catherine earned both their Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Stanislaus. As a licensed clinical social worker in California (LCSW #109856), they have worked extensively with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, chronic mental health conditions, and major life transitions. With specialized training in Brainspotting, ACT, and Narrative Therapy, Catherine helps clients gain clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.

In addition to therapy, Catherine is an experienced Self-Care and Wellness Presenter, offering trainings on burnout prevention, vicarious trauma, and self-care for social workers. Their passion lies in helping professionals recognize the impact of their work while prioritizing their own well-being.

Supervision and therapy are about growth, learning, and feeling supported—not just mastering clinical skills, but also developing confidence in who you are as a therapist. My approach is human-first, collaborative, and rooted in self-awareness and self-care. I want supervision to be a space where you feel safe to ask questions, reflect on challenges, and build trust in your clinical instincts.

Healing-whether in therapy or supervision—isn’t about erasing the past but learning to hold it with compassion. I see the human experience like a mosaic—our struggles and triumphs come together to create something meaningful. Great clinicians don’t just support others; they also take care of themselves. That’s why I emphasize mindfulness, self-care, and balance alongside skill-building and case conceptualization.
